Wyoming Ranches

Wyoming Guest RanchesTeddy Rosevelt called the road between Cody and Yellowstone the most scenic 50 miles in America. The first in the United States and the world Yellowstone National Park was created by congress in 1872. Covering 3500 square miles Yellowstone has unparelleled scenery and wildlife. Today there are many dude ranch operations surrounding the park as well as all over the state. With a rich history of sheep and cattle ranching, Wyoming is the least populated state and is known as the Cowboy state. The Dude Ranchers Association was founded in Wyoming by Larry Larom of Valley Ranch and John Eaton of Eatons Ranch.

Rimrock Ranch
Cody, Wyoming

Rimrock Dude RanchRimrock is a second-generation, family-owned and operated ranch. Gary and Dede Fales are continuing a 50+ year history, started in 1956 by Gary's parents, Glenn and Alice Fales. Our small size (about 36 guests), makes it possible for everyone to be on a personal and first name basis. We are proud of our weekly schedule, and think it, along with our small size, is one of the reasons for our prolonged popularity.
